The Green Lanterns save a dissimilar type of Lantern from an invading space monster. Grateful for their rescue, the Star Sapphires, whose power comes from love, invite anybody to their homeworld. Review:
The Interceptor is attacked past some big tentacle creature and naturally our heroes fly outside to have care of it. Nonetheless they seem to be having difficulty fighting the creature and are unexpectedly assisted by some Star Sapphires who invite the Green Lanterns to their planet for some rest and nourishment. Hal and Kilowog are happy to oblige but Razer and Aya remain on the Interceptor. When they arrive Kilowog notices a familiar face and wanders off looking for her while Hal is accommodated past ane of the Star Sapphires named Ga'tia. Kilowog come across's his suspicions were correct and he is reunited with Galia from the Lantern's final take chances. Galia then uses her newly caused ability of love to lull Kilowog into a bliss encased inside a crystal that will drain his power ring. Ga'tia tries her best to do the same to Hal but the leader of the Star Sapphires can sense who Hal's eye belongs to and sends a power ring to World to recall Carol Ferris. Ballad receives the ring and is re-united with Hal but she is none too happy to see Hal with Ga'tia having assumed he was dead. Meanwhile Razer and Aya begin searching for Kilowog and find the hospitality of the Star Sapphires is quite disingenuous. An emotionally influenced Carol fights with a befuddled Hal while Aya battles other Star Sapphires until Hal snaps Carol out of her power trip. Realizing what she had done rejects the band and tells Hal to come up home when he tin before beingness transported back to Earth. Hal saves Kilowog from his crystallized state and the Lantern'southward attempt to exit but are attacked by the very creature the encountered earlier. Luckily for them Ga'tia saves them and they make their escape.

Hell hath no fury like a Carol Ferris scorned. Her apperance was perhaps also brief and felt similar picayune more than a nod to her history as a Star Sapphire but Jennifer Hale gave another dynamite performance playing the range of Ballad's emotions in those few scenes. I had not expected Carol to larn Hal was the Light-green Lantern of Globe quite so before long but she took the news rather well all things considered.

Flirty Hal is e'er amusing merely a Hal trying not to requite into a woman'southward advances is fifty-fifty more entertaining. Good matter he was not defenseless in a more misleading state of affairs.

Aya was able to evidence some impressive fighting skill when contesting the Star Sapphires and may take revealed that her ability of volition is as strong or fifty-fifty stronger than an organic Light-green Lantern.

I cannot help merely experience sad for Kilowog. He finally found someone who he cared about later losing his family and she ends upwardly becoming a potential enemy or a slave to her power band. Poor guy can't catch a break.

The fight choreography in this episode was once again a sight to behold. The staff have made the 3D blitheness work to their advantage in this episode filled with vibrant colors. The animation remains smoothen and cute and is enough to make a pro-second viewer such as myself a believer.

This was probably just a gustation of the interest of the Star Sapphires in Green Lantern: The Animated Series. We should at to the lowest degree encounter is Ga'tia will change them for the better or if her Aunt the electric current leader volition proceed to use the power of love for her twisted intentions. It was a decent but not one of the better episodes this season. If Carol had not shown up it probably would take felt even less memorable. None the less, I trust this will not be the final nosotros will see of the Star Sapphires and in that regard it was a suitable introduction to them for the serial.
